JLL buys REAS
JLL has acquired Warsaw-based residential sector advisory REAS and has become the first advisory firm to operate in all segments of the real estate business in Poland.
Working within the structures of JLL, REAS will be responsible for developing Living Services in both Poland, and Central & Eastern Europe. “We recognise the strong synergy between our commercial know-how and the REAS consultancy practice. JLL will have a very sound team and the best experts from the Polish residential market. REAS has an excellent research and analysis department, a developer consultancy of the utmost quality, a professional valuation team as well as some of the most reputable experts in transactional consultancy on the residential market. As a result, we will expand JLL’s portfolio with the highest quality of services available on the residential market,” says Tomasz Trzósło, the managing director of JLL Poland.
“As part of JLL Living Services, we will provide the market with a wider range of services at all stages of an investment. However, rest assured, our existing customers will continue to receive the peace of mind that working with REAS' well-known and proven team brings. Calling upon both its European and global experience, JLL will also support investors in developing market segments, such as co-living, student residences and the construction of retirement homes. By combining our forces with JLL, we will expand our contacts with international business partners, and in so doing, provide our clients with access to global capital markets”, stated Paweł Sztejter, the vice president of REAS, commenting on the deal.
The entire REAS team will continue its activities within the structures of JLL in Poland, under the brand name REAS | JLL Residential Advisory. The founders of REAS will take up senior positions in JLL in Poland: Kazimierz Kirejczyk will act as vice president of the board at JLL Poland, while Paweł Sztejter will serve as the executive director responsible for managing the REAS team and the JLL Living Services.
